Cantor of Aachen Cathedral, born in 1976, he received his first musical education with the age of 4. He studied Catholic Church music (A-Diploma) in Aachen between 1997 and 2003 before his postgraduate studies in Choir Conducting under Prof. Steffen Schreyer in Aachen.

He has assisted in the education of boys and girls at Aachen Cathedral since 2001. and has been cantor of the Inner City Parish of Franziska of Aachen located at the parish church St. Foillan. Between 2004 and 2006 he was associate lecturer for music theory at the college for church music St. Gregorius in Aachen. Additionally to his main occupation he works as a voice trainer in the sacristan education of the dioceses of Cologne and Aachen and in the education for the permanent deaconry of the bishopric of Aachen.

He is cantor and director of the girls’ choir at Aachen Cathedral.
