Der Junge Chor Aachen

Der Junge Chor Aachen was founded in 1966 by Fritz ter Wey as a student chamber chorus. Under his direction the ensemble has mastered approximately 600 choral works from Renaissance to modern and performed in more than 500 concerts.

A focal point of his work is the choral music of the 20th century, with myriad performances of the same. There have been invitations to many important festivals in Germany and many European countries as well as Israel. Der Junge Chor Aachen has been prize winner in national and international competitions, and has made over 50 radio recordings for German and European radio stations as well as multiple CD productions.
